Lahore is literally blooming with musical events and we cannot be more excited for being able to attend all of those and witness unexplainable energy. The latest addition to the list was 7up Foodies Festival where some of the biggest names of the industry rocked Lahore with powerful performances. The star studded line up including the superstar Atif Aslam, Josh, Jal the Band, Abrar ul Haq, Bayaan, and the legend Sajjad Ali took the excitement to another level.
The best part of 7up Foodies Festival was seeing Anoushey Ashraf and Dino Ali - our most favorite VJ duo - take the center stage as the hosts who did a commendable job. There's absolutely no doubt in the hosting abilities of these two but the way they maintained the energy throughout the 3-day event was absolutely mind blowing. They proved why they are the very best in business and we are still in awe of their brilliance. Not to mention how we got lucky enough to meet them backstage and share all the love we have for them.
Coming back to the performances, it was Pakistani music at its best! From Jal's rocking performance to Abrar ul Haq's bhangra music, Sajjad Ali's mesmerizing voice to Josh Band's unparalleled energy, and to put the cherry on top, Atif Aslam's memorable performance - 7up Foodies Festival was an event to remember.
It is so good to see Lahore getting lively with quality live music and the contributions of such festivals is exemplary. Let's hope we get to enjoy more of these events because only that can bring back the glorious days of Pakistani music!
